Mac book and Dmx software

Hi I have a 2012 13in mbp i5 8gb 5oog hard drive. Running mavericks. With mc 7000 denon. All works flawless. I want to add American dj dmx basic software with two moving heads. Is it possible to do this without a separate computer? Thxx

I wouldn't run the american dj dmx software and serato together on the same computer , for best results keep the american dj dmx software on a cheap computer .

It works for me. I’m able to run SDJ Pro and ADJ myDMX on the same computer while DJing mobile events with no problems. I just switch between programs when when I need to change scenes in my DMX and then go back to Serato. I was originally going to use a second computer to run the lighting software but I tested it out at home and then at a few low pressure gigs and it’s been working flawlessly on my 2013 MacBook Pro with 16 gigs of RAM.
