Serato developers, time to get proactive.

I guess there is still Amazon music store for those tracks you have to purchase a la carte, but this is going to be a pain in the ass for awhile.

You download music on Amazon, while the rest of us are downloading music through the rebranded iTunes aka Apple Music.

But will the new rebranded Apple music app allow for a la carte purchases? I hope so.

I can't see them giving away a huge revenue stream just to try and force everyone onto streaming.

To be honest I don't see why people are blowing this so out of proportion. I've seen a heap of posts making it sound like it's the end of something major.
Itunes is a bloated software, all that's going to happen is it being stripped down and separated out into individual programs.

In theory that’s great, in application who knows what tweaks they will make. Clearly the way DJs use iTunes is not relevant to Apple’s business plans because we want to own local files. The number of local files people are probably an insignificant fraction of the “music” listing world now and an ever smaller segment in the future. That’s what makes me worry when they talk about ending something that currently works.

Well, This so "Media" shit is a no go... NOT one of my songs are showing up in my Serato. Is there something I'm supposed to be doing??? Serato really need to play catch up. There is no reason why Serato should be behind.

It's been posted everywhere not to update. All social media, the forums, other users reposting. It's been widely known not to update for at least a month
