Lock crate to a deck

Hi. I would like to be able to lock an specific crate to a deck so even if I am moving through crates as soon as I press the deck button in the controller it sets the cursor in the locked crate automatically. This will be really useful for example to lock a crate for acapellas only for deck 3 or 4 and you don´t have to scroll all your browser to find again the acapella's crate.

Nukaj, when I read the title of your request. I thought, why would anyone want a feature like that? But then I read why you would require it. You have an interesting point. I am not sure if it could be implemented though.

Question: When you say "press the deck button" and the cursor would go to that locked (assigned) crate. what "deck button" are you referring to?

The button that selects the deck on the controller (1/3) or (2/4) of course if it's a 2 channel controller with no virtual decks 3 and 4 then this feature is not so useful. The idea came to me because I've seen people mixing on 3 or 4 cdjs and one of them its only for acapellas or maybe samples. I know that we have sample pads in Serato's controllers but having an acapella or a sample in a deck will let you play with it in seconds (changing pitch, key, start/end loop)

That is one of the cooler niche ideas I've ever seen requested on here!

+1 - i might actually use acapellas more on my 4 ch controller if it worked like that.
