havin issue synchin my mp4 files to iphone (to audition files). do i need to re convert it again as iphone/ipod settings??? this is great...

ipod/iphone have a bitrate limitation. i don't know the exact number off hand, but i'm pretty sure 2mbps is too high for it.
there's a template in sony vegas that has these specs: 640x480. 1.35mpbs vbr video, 29.97 fps, 128kbps, 48khz aac audio.

ouch! why can't we have like the mp3.. ipod/iphone/serato..
mp4 .. vsl..convert it again, for ipod/iphone

how about the apple tv?? is it using the mp4 ipod settings?? or can it play higher bitrate, like what we're using for vsl??

iPod/iPhone only support basic h.264 profiles. They also need to be hinted properly. Appletv supports more advanced profiles and any any supported file will play with no special hinting or tagging needed.

You may also try this method to solve cannot play MP4 on iPhone at www.idealshare.net

This method also helps to solve cannot play any other videos on iPhone like WMV, AVI, MKV, FLV, 3GP, MOV, VOB, MPG etc
