Update to this: rebooting with the mixtrack pro plugged in usually fixes the problem - but of course I don't want to reboot every time I plug it in.

Frustratingly, it worked great for the first couple of weeks but I've had this problem for the 2 months since. I want it how it worked in the first couple of weeks!

Have you tried using a different USB cable and USB port on your computer?

When you go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Sound, does the Mixtrack Pro show up as a sound device here? Can you ensure that it is NOT selected as the device for either playback or recording.

Yes, I tried it with all ports.

I just tried it again and it's working fine... Dammit, lol. It's also shown up as a playback device under Control Panel \ Sound and set as default, even though it's working in DJ Intro - I've set the default back to the laptop's internal speakers.

Hopefully that's the most I'll need to do in future - I'll post here again if the problem recurs.

I would still recommend making sure it is NOT selected a playback device just incase this causes some sort of conflict.
