What format is the external HD?
Are you saying you build crates and add music but when you close the program and then re open Scratch Live they are gone?

What you mean by format?
I exit serato, unplugg HD. When i plug in back in open serato theirs nothing their saved. I have to go to the files option and pull it out from their. So if i create a Crate right now, once i unplug it and close it, re open wont be their.

If you see the icon for the external HD on your desktop, click it once and then press cmd + i
This will bring up an info window and that will tell you the format. What you describe leads me to believe it is formatted NTFS.

You will need to reformat your external HD.
