So about 2 weeks ago I started having problems with my crossfaders and motors. My crossfaders sometimes wouldn't close all the way, leaving 100% or sometimes just bits n pieces of the other track playing when it's supposed to be closed. This would come and go as it pleased. My motor/platters would sometimes start slow, sounding just like the effect as if I had my start time set to +. This would continue until I turned the NS7 off and on again.

After getting a new USB 2.0 cable (gold; maximum connection). The crossfaders seemed to work properly, though I haven't had much time with them. But, the start time on the motors continued. And yesterday all of a sudden I heard this like chainsaw audio noise (as if you had a loop and cut down as much as you could) then ITCH disconnected from my NS7. I also noticed before I turned off the NS7 my FSTARTA and XFADER lights came on in my Meter Mode display box on my NS7, I noticed them because they are never on.

Seems to re-start fine, but happens again within 10-15 minutes of everything running? (not always with the chainsaw audio noise, but I have heard it more than once)

Is there anyway to save this expensive piece of equipment?

Just an update, I installed ITCH 2.2.2 yesterday. Everything got worse, disconnected withing 2 minutes. When it was on all the lights like the volume meter mode of example was really slow, like not live speed. Always catching up and never smooth with the live sound.

Thank you in advance to anyone who helps, this is how I make my money and nothing is working at the moment.

Hey Youngtee,

Thank you very much for your help!

I tried to run the installation for my drivers (32-bit Windows 7, thats what I have) and it keeps on saying ' unfortunately the installation failed; error timeout - 0x0005 '

When I tried to update to the new 2.2.2 it also said it could not install the audio drivers I believe?

I downloaded the the midi-link. But I was still not able to download the drivers from the Numark website?

This time the error message read ' unfortunately the installation failed; error timeout - 0x0006 '

Please help
DJ Stutta 3:01 PM - 24 July, 2013
From repeating the process I realized it only reads error 0006 when I actually have the ns7 powered on while trying to install the drivers.

If I have to USB plugged in and the NS7 powered off, it reads error 0005.

Just trying to give you any and every little information I can.

Also, when I power the NS7 on. Windows automatically tries to install the drivers itself. (but still getting the same error as in my first post)

So I have un-installed ITCH and all the drivers. Re-installed ITCH 2.2.2 and im still not able to download the drivers.

What should I do next?

Hey DJ Stutta,

How are you going with this? Did you get it sorted, sorry for some reason your thread fell through the cracks on the forum.
