I am curious did you have a good version of 1.3 installed and running? I want to install 1.5 and your issue was the first i noticed on 1.5 i had issues with 1.3 and have it working right now and i dont want to switch just be fore a gig this weekend not until i know i can do so without problems.

I had no issues with 1.3 apart with the loop shift issue which I could work around. You could always try 1.5 and if you have any problems reinstall 1.3.

I just downloaded v1.5 last night. Came from previous version never had a problem crashing but with v 1.5 I'm having creasing issues. just had two in less than 20 minutes. seems like problem is when all decks are in use and I try to load a track and that's when it crash. ugh. I can never use this live again until a update come out or something. the only thing I change was that I update it to version 1.5.

Anyway I can go back to 1.3?

So I just tonight downloaded the new firmware and after 30 solid minutes in it crashed! WTF guys. I restarted my comp and after another 30, crash then once again crash! I have never had a problem with 1.3 and am currently downgrading. CMON FIX THIS I have a show tomorrow!

I DJ'd a club last night and 1.5 crashed on me twice. Please fix this serato.

I also just had Serato DJ 1.5 crash on me during a live set- First time ever- (very embarrassin)- I'm going to downgrade back to 1.3 ASAP-

Crashed 20 minutes into my set at the club last night. But before that there was some serious digital noise happening. Cleared the floor. Reverted to 1.3. Had to use itch last night cause no wifi at club. Fix please serato.

Started up V1.3 - rest of the night went fine.. but I was nervous as hell!
1.5 has serious problem - I won't use 1.5 again.

crashed on me too with crowed dancing on the floor i fired up virtual dj right away. i am going back to V1.3

SERATO DJ 1.5 keeps crashing on my NS7!!!!! i have a macbook pro 13 inch mid 2010.. 2.66 ghz intel core2 duo software OS X 10.8.5....I was at work playing in front of 250 people and it crashed 3 fuc*ing times and guess what??? I have a Bar mitzvah at 2pm tomorrow !!!!!! Help me please!!!!!!! When this happened i was simply DJing song was playing the first time it happened the song kept skipping and looping itself over and over like a broken record... the second and 3rd time it simply cut off now when this happen i simply reinstalled Serato DJ 1.3 which is the first Serato DJ i had on my computer.. This one worked perfectly besides when i load a track and getting ready to cue the next song the song starts off as if i have it on the slowest speed then 5 sec later it plays normally. I still have ITch 2.2.2 on my computer as well so please let me know the best solution sorry for being so mean at first but can you imagine the amount of anger i was under when being embarrassed by a faulty product.

Please start your own help threads so the support staff can give you more personal support. Sounds like you are having similar issues however you are using different hardware. Lets try and isolate whats going on for you all personally.

What are your full computer spec's? Are you currently still running OSX 10.6.8?
Have you analysed all your songs within your Serato DJ database?
Do you have any corrupt files in your library?
I'll do some tests here and see if i can reproduce this issue. Could you please attach any crash reports you are having so we can log them.

Same problem here 1.5 crashed on me during my set.. whats the problem?

I've just had 4 or 5 crashes in 5 minutes of using it. Dragging tracks into slot 1 or 2, or pressing load from the Novation Twitch.

Won't be using this for 2 gigs coming up. Will either use 1.3 or revert to Itch (although I've been having problems with the sound from that as DJ has a louder output for some reason)

I'm running 2.4 Ghz intel core duo with 8 gig of Ram using OSX 10.6.8.
I ditched 1.5 the same day I installed it and reverted back to 1.3 which has been running exactly the same as before with only the loop shift issue.
All songs are analysed with no corrupt files.

I checked for crash reports but files are empty.

I had it running last Sat 12 Oct. 2013!!
I crashed 3 times and I was placed on prime time...

I am so annoyed by this Version.
I am using the vestax vci 380 & MacBook Pro late 2011...

Never had any trouble in earlier versions.
Even Itch worked fine without crashin...

I would definitely go back to 1.3 for now. I used it for 5 hours at the weekend without any problems.

At this time Numark has determined that Serato DJ 1.3 offers superior stability when used with Numark controllers, including NS7, NS7II and NS6.

Just to confirm your above statement does the NS7 2 work with 1.3 and how stable is it compared with the NS6? As I have no intention to upgrading to an NS7 2 if 1.5 is my only option.

I can.
Switching SP6 banks back and forth quickly with controller (VCI-380 / Pioneer DDJ-SX).
Crash every time.

And i think this start happening after 1.5...

Oh, forgot to mention... 2 different laptops... Both MAC. (10.6. / 10.7.)

I've been able to reproducing this issue. Thanks for letting us know about this. I've logged this bug with our development team and we hope to bring a fix for this in a future release.
However I couldn't say when this might be.
As a workaround you could turn off the Loop Control on deck 1 before using the loop shift on deck 2.

Version 1.3 works solidly with both NS6 and NS7II. This was the version originally planned for release with the NS7II and has been tested for literally thousands of hours by both Numark and Serato.

Guys, 1.3 if you have the NS7-2. I had problems with 1.5. Went to 1.3, so far so good. For me, I can't take the chance of having even one crash of my computer on someone's wedding day/night. Not worth it to go up to 1.5. Give me stability over features any day.
