serato dj doesn't seem to remember information of user name and password overtime you turn serato dj on you have to re-enter user name and password every time…unlike serato sl even with the remember user name and password blocked checked I am still having to do this every time

Hey there G Slimm,

You do not have to login each time you open the software, once you've connected your controller and activated once, you don't need to open the online window again until you wish to make changes to your account.

Does this help? Please do let me know.
Regards, Bruce.

forgive me I was thinking faster they my typing I was referring to serato white labels every time I turn serato dj on I have to input user name and password to unlock the tracks…which is annoying having to do it every time which I am always on the same laptop which is my own …the only time I don't have to do it is when I play in scratch live….this feature of remembering user name and password in serato dj is missing …it has a box to check REMEMBER but it doesn't work at all….for this reason I have stopped downloading serato white label mp3's its almost to a point of going into my external drive and deleting all the serato white labels since serato dj can't remember user name and password

this issue is still the case

I am also having this issue, and it's not hardware specific. It happens on every startup on my DDJ-SR and on the 61 and 62s I play on at the club. This is on 1.7.3 on a brand new Macbook.

Bruce- Any update on this? Still happening for me.

I've always had this issue too. The only thing that has worked is to somehow delete the "database V2" file from your drive. I've tried it by doing it on my external, but seems to work best if you do it on your internal drive. It has worked for me in the past, but I noticed that it began again after the latest update. This isn't an "official" solution, but it's what I've had to do. I just did it, and it seems to still work for me.

I did the new database V2 about a month ago and it didn't fix the issue.

This bug is still present every time I open the App. The new 1.7.4 betas don't fix it either.

Same issue here also.

DJ LS3, this has been suggested in the past, but try deleting your "database V2" file inside your "_Serato_" folder in your hard drive that you keep your music files on. Do this on each drive you use if you're using multiple drives just to be sure. It's not a guaranteed fix, but has worked for me on one of my drives.

I tried all of that and it still makes me sign in with my user name and password for white label tracks.....the only time I don't have to do it ...is if I use scratch live ...there is something different in serato dj and scratch live that needs to be fixed to keep serato dj from asking folks to sign in with user name and password...the only way around it is to find all the white labels I have to delete them since there is no way to find the 29 white label tracks in question that makes me have to do the user name and password everytime

Also, a lot of those earlier whitelabel tracks are no longer available. I know because I tried to do the same thing...
