Really nice... a little funny to get used to but once you get it sorted works like a dream... great for instant doubles!

I believe it's a pretty cool feature. However, as a needle-dropping dj, (that I am) the pros; are the feel of mixing regular vinyl with the touch when backspinning and juggling. The cons; are that an ugly old school issue of pits and burns in one area that you can't even out to 4-quarters of the record if you only needle-dropped in one area. That causes a big issue with 'tracking.'
Or, am I missing something regarding a sticker-lock option assignment beginning physically on different parts of the cv? Unfortunately for me, I'm in the habit of dropping the needle exactly where the sticker points.

I've been using this feature for 5 years and cue burning my records hasn't been an issue since the 2.5 tone records came out. Even the older records would take 3-4 months to have tracking issues and this was practicing weekly, doing radio shows and gigging 3-4 nights a week.

Please make the needle dropping in sticker lock more accurate and sensitive. It doesn't always trigger on the same setup/hardware that it works just fine on with good sensitivity in ssl.

So I've been interested in using the STICKER LOCK feature with my Official Serato Control Vinyl 2.5 and I can not for the life of me get the printed thick black lines on the Serato record label to work as my stickers. I assumed that's why they were printed there.
To use sticker lock, I'd have to place a new sticker on the label rather than use the one that was printed on the label. Then I'd have 2 stickers as markers... no bueno.
Can anyone assist me with this?
I also would like to know how to use the printed think black line on the label at both 12 o'clock and 2 o'clock positions.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

you need to put your own sticker at this stage.
we can't predict during the pressing process where it will be. And Rane can't either. (Those on your picture are Rane pressings)
Sorry.

I have a suggestion, maybe you can design a new label and provide them with cv's in future that way we can position it the way we want.

Thanks for your response, Karl Y.
That's a good idea, DJ Quartz!
Did these Rane pressings that I have EVER work properly with sticker lock? Is it something that changed and is just now obsolete?
