Help..TTM 56s makes hum,buzz noise when on phono !!

Hi i need help with my mixer rane ttm 56s
makes hums and noise buzzin when switched on the back on phono
Even when connected only to power and pluged headphones ,no other connected devices like turntables...when both pgms are on line works fine ...if only one is switched to phono it gets loud...help please i want to use phono with turntables in future

If you plug a turntable into the phono input does it go away?
You could just be hearing noise coming into the phono input when there is nothing plugged into it.
