Maybe we can make this an entry test for upcoming Hip Hop DJ's?
I scored 13/16. I figure a few of y'all can get 16/16 though.

16, it's a little to easy for anyone that came up in the 80's/90's you know the song immediately

I suck, 11/16. Should have had at least 14. Down here in FLA in the early 90's it was all Techno, Freestyle & Top 40 back then, I played almost no Hip-Hop.

Nope, latest mini.
It's the connection to the slate.com site.
It takes 5 min to get an audio sample.
I'm probably too far away, I'll try again later.

16/16. waaay too easy and IMO the wheel of fortune format makes it even easier. the Run DMC sounded like Vanilla Ice but the apostrophe and amount of letters was a dead give away

You scored 16 out of 16!
- Big daddy kane and Will tunes would have probably got me if not for the auto fill but no wrong guesses. I also got hung on another- Cypess Hill - I got two wrong on the autofill before it clicked,
Getting old...

There are two ways of getting the answers, just listening or typing in some letters and trying to solve...
Did you guys just listen to the music and giving the answer or were you doing it like Johnny?
I know LL has that song, but don't ask me how it goes...I like Biggies "Going back to Cali".

Thanks, that was fun.
15 out of 16. I missed the EPMD track. It was the only one I didn't have in my library
(Im going to itunes now to change that). I knew it was EPMD, I just could remember the name of the song.
Not bad for someone still under 30 (just barely).
