Yes:)

Although keep in mind that SSL is not compatible with Yosemite and only the 1.7.2 version of SDJ (which is still in beta) will work with Yosemite.

Really? I had a gig last Saturday and I used scratch live and I'm running Yosemite. I had no problems

When I say its not compatible I mean that although it may work, its not officially supported.
This means that if you run into any issues with it, which you very well may, we will not provide support to you. No updates will be made to fix any issues pertaining to SSL and Yosemite.

I see. I got lucky then. Will there eventually be support?

I haven't really had a chance to play with Serato dj. Is there a big difference?

Im pretty sure scratchlive will never "officially" support Yosemite but serato dj will very soon.

my professional advise is to wait a few months at least before using new operating systems even after its officially supported and torture test it to reduce your chances of failure at live gigs.

So yes, you got lucky....

BTW, OS X 10.8.5 "Mountain Lion" is likely the most stable os you can run on the 2012 macbook air 11 in regards to serato stability.
