Adjust Pitch Range With Numark Mixtrack Platinum

DJmoustique 1:27 PM - 16 September, 2016
Hi Everybody...

I can't find any way to adjust the pitch range on Serato Intro with my new Mixtrack Platinum. I used to do it with my old Mixtrack Pro 3 with the combinaison SHIFT + PITCH BUTTON. But on this new controller, it's not working

Is there a new combinaison or a way to do it ?

I have ask Numark about hit and the support is awfull ... And i got some crazy answers :

- Please install Serato intro one more time...
- I'am afraid your device is faulty. Send it back !
- You don't have to touch "Shift" to change the pitch ( lol i like this one a lot)

Hi guys,

Unfortunately this feature is not available with the Mixtrack Platinum. The function that was previously available on the Mixtrack Pro series has not been implemented on the MIxtrack Platinum. The same controller function is assigned to fast forward and rewind as per the specification from Numark.

It is however possible to remap this control using the hardware remapping function in Serato DJ, but this is not possible with Serato DJ intro unfortunately.

You are able to MIDI map Pitch Range in Serato DJ. When you enable MIDI mapping, you will see a button called 'RANGE. This is found in the bottom left corner of the left deck, and in the bottom right for the right deck.

Simply assign any button to that function to allow you to change the pitch range from the hardware.

How do you assign the pitch range in serato dj pro? I'm not seeing the "range" button to the bottom left or right of either decks.

I'm having the same problem and the support for this thread is horrible. How do you change the pitch range +/- 8 to +/-16 with a DJ2GO2 in Serato DJ Pro???

You can’t. The DJ2GO2 does not have extended pitch ranges. The pitch fader is way too small. You could prob remap but I don’t think it’s available in SDJ Lite unless I’m mistaken.

Not sure if this helps anyone, but I had a hell of a time trying to get this setup on DJ Pro, but eventually figured it out. And also discovered that the TAP BPM isn't mapped by default, so had to do that manually as well.

Posted the resolution on reddit if anyone interested: www.reddit.com
