JTR Captivator 212 Pro Subs

I have been in this forum researching and looking through all posts and after hearing the various dialogues and also already knowing about Jeff from JTR from a subwoofer shoot out 11years ago, I purchased a pair of the Captivator 212 pro. Thanks to Pdidy, Taipanic, Certified Quality Entertainment, Joee, DJ GaFFle and DJJOHNNYM_vSL3 for the countless dialogue on subwoofer speakers releasing important information on the use and settings of DJ equipment in general.
Just wanted to know what setting on the subwoofer should the gain be at? According to the dialogues in the pass you guys mention keeping it at unity, 0db. However on the Captivator it is just min and max. When i received the speakers they were already defaulted to Max. Wasn't sure that that was unity or 0 db.

I have no idea...... but my guess would be since there is no 0db location printed on the amp panel by the gain knob then max is 0db. But out of curiosity I emailed jeff for the official answer.

What has been your experience with these subs for mobile DJ use? How many are you using? What type/size events? Thank you!

I have no complaints about the subs they perform wonderfully. So far I play them in my basement constantly have the neighbors complaining. I have not use them in actual event. I have two and their real portable fit in the back of my sienna van with way more room to spare. The only event i did get to use them was a block party but clients neighbors restricted me from really giving my all, however I'm very please!!!

The gain was turned up because each sub is tested before it is shipped.
